In a recent report, Fanatik revealed that Leeds United are ready to move in for Besiktas striker Semih Kilicsoy this summer. It has been stated that the Whites are hoping to get a deal done for the Turkish youngster in this transfer window.
Kilicsoy caught the eye at times with his performances as the focal point of Besiktas’ attack last season. The Turkish talent was involved in 45 matches for his current employers in the previous campaign, finding the back of the net four times and securing six assists in multiple competitions.
The 19-year-old is amongst the best young strikers in European football right now. Thus, it is no surprise that Leeds United are showing interest in recruiting him this summer.
His current contract at Besiktas will run out in the summer of 2028 which could make it difficult for the Yorkshire club to land him on a cut-price deal this off-season.

Kilicsoy is proficient at finding a yard of space for himself to get a few strikes on target. He has got the vision to engineer some inviting chances for his teammates on the offensive end of the field. Kilicsoy deserves credit for scoring and creating a lot of important goals for Besiktas last season.
The Turkish whizkid is a good dribbler with the ball as well. He is primarily a centre-forward but can also operate as a wide player if asked to do so by his manager.
We can expect Kilicsoy to enhance the quality of Leeds United head coach Daniel Farke’s frontline in the long run. He is already good enough to compete for a regular first-team place at Elland Road next season.
At 19, Kilicsoy has the potential to be a future star in the Premier League as long as he continues to improve with each year. He is undoubtedly a prospect to watch out for in the future. Therefore, the Whites would do well to bring him to England ahead of the new campaign. However, Farke has to be patient with his development before he can unlock the best out of the gifted youngster at the Yorkshire club.
