Liverpool have confirmed Ryan Gravenberch as their Player of the Month for September.
The midfielder continues to enjoy a new lease of life as Arne Slot’s side won four out of their five matches last month.
Gravenberch also helped the Reds claim the Premier League’s top spot courtesy of last weekend’s victory at Wolves.
“If you win the Player of the Month it’s really nice. It’s also my first one, so I’m a little bit proud as well,” said the Netherlands international.
“Obviously we have a really good team, really good players. Luis [Díaz] had four goals in September, so I think it’s hard to choose between me and him, but I want to thank the fans that they chose me.
“I think I had good actions against Bournemouth, but I will go for the game against Milan. I think that game was a really good team performance, but also individually it was really good.”
Next up for the Anfield club is a trip to Crystal Palace in Saturday’s early top-flight game.
