He suggests there’s only about a 10% chance that Davies and Bayern will find common ground, with the possibility of the player leaving on a free transfer becoming more likely.

Too much talk

There is still hope within Bayern to keep Davies, as they seek a breakthrough in negotiations.

Yet, Real Madrid are not the only club interested in the left-back; Barcelona have also been monitoring the situation closely, aware that they may soon have an opportunity to make an offer.

The biggest obstacle

However, bringing Davies on board will require more than just interest from clubs. The Canadian international is reportedly seeking a significant signing bonus, asking for €15 million upfront.

Any interested club will need to meet Davies’ terms, which include a contract worth around €10 million per season after tax, with a commitment of at least four years.
