It is a blow for Manchester City to lose their top-scorer for the foreseeable future. Haaland has scored 30 goals this season in all competitions and is one of Manchester City’s most important players. But Pep Guardiola’s side will have to soldier on without the Norwegian international. Attention will now shift to how long Haaland will be sidelined for due to the ankle injury he sustained on Sunday.

Fortunately, Omar Marmoush can step into the void Haaland’s injury has created. He did so on Sunday at the Vitality Stadium and will have an opportunity to lead the line for his team starting on Wednesday evening against Leicester City.
