West Ham are bracing for a summer move from Arsenal for Mohammed Kudus, it has been reported.
It’s no secret that the club are set for a significant summer ahead, with an overhaul of the squad expected, with as many as 12 players set to leave and be replaced, as Graham Potter builds a side capable of getting the club back on track.
The current season has been a dismal one for all connected with West Ham, as fans count down the final 3 matches of the bleak season, with a renewed sense of hope wanted as we go into a hugely important transfer window.
A key component to a successful window is to raise funds to enable Potter and his Head of Recruitment Kyle Macaulay to operate, with the sale of Mohammed Kudus seen as vital.
Its now been reported by Football365 that Arsenal are set to enter the race to land the Ghana star, with it reported that Gunners are preparing a ‘massive offer’.
“The Ghana international has been identified by Arsenal ‘as an ideal asset to boost their quality’ and are ‘willing to make a significant financial commitment to secure his services.’
“Sources ‘close to the player haven’t ruled out a change of scenery’ in the summer transfer window as the West Ham attacker ‘feels the time has come to take a step forward and become part of a more ambitious project’.
“A potential move to Arsenal ‘fits with his sporting aspirations, as well as his desire to remain in the English capital’ while the ‘figure being considered for the possible transfer is around 70 million euros, a considerable but affordable investment for the Emirates Stadium team’.”
