David Sullivan is deciding whether to make a move to appoint Dan Ashworth as Director of Football.
The former Brighton figurehead, who worked closely alongside our current Head Coach Graham Potter and Head of Recruitment Kyle Macaulay whilst with the Seagulls, its out of work following his departure from the chaotic Manchester United and is ready to step back into football.
This presents a unique opportunity for David Sullivan, who could bring in a the Director of Football to spearhead the new Graham Potter era in east London, which already has many at the club excited by what the future may hold.
Sullivan though is understood to be weighing up the potential appointment, with the club still reeling from the shambles that unfolded under the recruitment leadership of Tim Steidten, who was officially sacked last week.
The question is whether Sullivan now has the appetite to bring in another to the mix, however the risk appears to be significantly less so, with Ashworth, Potter and Macaulay all overseeing a stunning rise at Brighton, which has many wondering what could be achieved at a club with the size and wealth that West Ham possess.
