Work is being done to land Andre Silva from RB Leipzig, but talks are also being held with Dutch giants Ajax for Brian Brobbey.

However, according to talkSPORT, Ajax are ‘not willing to allow’ the striker to go on loan unless a ‘sizeable obligation’ is included.

Discussions between the two clubs are ongoing, but Ajax want to know the deal is effectively a permanent one and to know the fee that will be coming their way.

Brobbey has made 17 appearances in the Dutch top flight this season, scoring just once.

He has also struck twice in the Europa League and has another two and a half years to run on his current deal in Amsterdam.

West Ham would likely expect him to substantially up that goal return at the London Stadium.
