Nottingham Forest fans are furious with a referee announcement which has been made before their match with Southampton in the Premier League.

Southampton are rock-bottom of the Premier League table. While they looked impressive for most of the game against Man United in midweek, it was the final and most crucial stage of the match which Southampton bottled. Ultimately, they dropped three points.

Unfortunately for the Saints, it doesn't get any easier this weekend. They will travel to the East Midlands to face Nottingham Forest away from home.

This season, Forest are in incredible form and they are a genuine contender for the top four. Therefore, it is highly unlikely that Southampton will come away with a result, especially if their heads drop like they did in midweek.

As pointed out by Nottingham Forest News, fans of Forest are far from over the moon with Anthony Taylor announced as the officiating lead for Nottingham Forest vs Southampton this weekend.

Forest fans have a vendetta against Taylor for exactly the same reason, they feel like he is an unfair referee against them. Indeed, many bad calls have been made by Taylor which have hindered Nottingham Forest.

We live in an age where it is easy to judge any referee. After all, if a call is made against a certain club, fans will obviously be bias and say that the call was unfair. However, when the same referee consistently makes those risky calls, something can definitely be said there.

After all, Southampton fans have had their fair share of poor calls go against them. So, Saints fans can relate to Forest fans here.

Let's just hope that no risky calls are made... But then again, that's like wishing for the sky to be green in the Premier League.
