Barcelona will be hoping to close the gap to the top two teams in the La Liga table when they lock horns with Valencia tonight in Montjuic.
Ahead of the contest, Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has announced the starting lineup, with changes made to the team that took the field against Benfica earlier this week.
Pedri has been ruled out of the match, with Frenkie de Jong taking his place in the middle of the park alongside Marc Casado.
Fermin Lopez also gets a rare start as the attacking midfielder, with Gavi getting benched after starting a string of games.
Meanwhile, the manager has also opted to rest key forward Robert Lewandowski, opting to start Ferran Torres as the centre-forward in his place. Raphinha and Lamine Yamal partner him in attack.
In a major decision, Flick has opted to continue with Wojciech Szczesny in goal despite his costly errors in the UEFA Champions League clash against Benfica. Jules Kounde and Alejandro Balde line up as the two full-backs.
But there is a change in central defence with Eric Garcia getting the nod in place of Ronald Araujo as Pau Cubarsi’s partner.
