La Liga outfit Las Palmas have this weekend announced fresh reinforcements to the club’s engine room ranks.

The latest player to have put pen to paper on terms in Gran Canaria? Stefan Bajčetić.

The name of youngster Bajčetić had of course proven itself a prominent one in the Spanish media headlines over the course of the last week.

This comes, first, after word was forthcoming that Liverpool were ready to recall the 20-year-old from his loan stint with Red Bull Salzburg.

As much was in turn followed by the aforementioned Las Palmas setting their sights firmly on Bajčetić’s signature.

And, as alluded to above, this weekend, the Pio-pio have landed their man.

As per a statement across the club’s website and social media platforms:

‘Stefan Bajčetić (22/10/2004, Vigo, Spain) becomes a new player for UD Las Palmas. The player arrives at UD Las Palmas on loan, following the agreement reached with Liverpool FC and the player.’
