The NUFC number two speaking ahead of this match against Aston Villa
Jason Tindall and Eddie Howe hoping to see their team make it seven wins in a row in all competitions.
Six matches to go that will decide whether or not United will be in the Champions League next season.

Pointers as to availability for this Aston Villa match and beyond.
Official Newcastle United injury update from Jason Tindall ahead of Aston Villa away on Saturday night – 18 April 2025:
Jason Tindall asked for an update on Eddie Howe after the thrashing of Crystal Palace and ahead of the Villa match:
“There is no fresh update since Wednesday’s game [against Palace].
“He is recovering and as soon as there are any more updates, the fans and media will be the first to know.”
Jason Tindall asked about how Sven Botman is getting on with his recovery and when he could be available:
“Certainly not for this weekend [for the Villa match], too soon.
“But Sven is ahead of schedule and he is out on the grass now.
“He is joining in with some parts of training.
“Maybe next weekend [Sven Botman could be available for the Ipswich match].
“He could possibly be involved, up for selection.
“That will be assessed over the coming days.
“But we are certainly really pleased with his progress.”
No new injuries reported by Jason Tindall ahead of tomorrow’s match.
So as things appear to stand, only Lewis Hall, Sven Botman and Jamaal Lascelles will be definitely unavailable for this Villa match on Saturday.
With still five games left after Villa, it would a huge bonus to get Sven Botman available for at least some of the remaining games.
Lewis Hall definitely won’t be seen again this season, whilst it looks very likely it will be also the same with Jamaal Lascelles.
