Official Newcastle United injury update from Eddie Howe ahead of Brentford tomorrow night – 1 April 2025:

Two pieces of excellent news.

Anthony Gordon has avoided serious injury whilst on England duty.

Eddie Howe revealing that whilst he has nasty bruising in the thigh/groin area, Gordon will return to training in a number of days, with the intention of becoming available for the match at Leicester on Monday night. The winger is suspended for this Brentford match.

The Newcastle United Head Coach also making public that it was a minor operation that Sven Botman has had.

Eddie Howe saying that it was expected that the Dutch defender would be out for up to eight weeks but instead he is ahead of schedule and expected to return by the end of April.
