Ligue 2 side Paris FC have announced they would play their home games at Paris’ Stade Jean-Bouin, which is located just next to PSG’s Parc des Princes, from next season onwards and until 2029. Stade Jean-Bouin is a modern 19.000-seater which is home to Rugby Union outfit Stade Français Paris. Paris FC currently play their home games at Stade Charléty south of Paris. Charléty is more suited to athletics than football, as pointed out by Red Bull Head of Football Jürgen Klopp when he attended a PFC home game last month: “The stadium is a stadium where you cannot create an atmosphere. It is long ago since I watched a game from that far and I was in the stadium rather than in front of the TV.

Paris FC have been taken over last year by the richest family in France – the Arnault – through their Agache Sport holding. Red Bull own a minority stake in the Parisian club. PFC are on track to gain a Ligue 1 promotion by the end of the season. They are currently second in the Ligue 2 standings, with a three-point deficit on league leaders Lorient. “Reaching this agreement to play at Jean-Bouin from next season was a priority for my family to offer our supporters, partners and spectators a perfect setting to see Paris FC teams”, said Antoine Arnault.
