Official | Théo Le Bris joins Guingamp on loan from Lorient

EA Guingamp have confirmed the signing of Théo Le Bris (22) on loan from FC Lorient until the end of the season.

Théo broke into the first team at Lorient under the stewardship of his uncle, Régis Le Bris. His uncle left the club in the summer to manage Championship side Sunderland AFC following Les Merlus’ relegation to Ligue 2.

It was a journey that Théo could have also shared as the midfielder was linked with a move to West Brom Albion. However, a move to the Championship team ultimately did not come to fruition.

Théo Le Bris season shaped by a lack of game time and a significant injury

Théo remained at Lorient for the first six months of the season but has struggled for game time and has not started a single match for the Ligue 2 side. This was not helped by the significant injury that he suffered near the start of the season which saw him miss nine games.
