Simone Inzaghi took charge of his 150th Serie A match in charge of Inter during their 2-0 victory over Torino on Sunday, and the Nerazzurri tactician now has the second-best points per game record of any coach who has taken charge of 150 league matches with the same club.
A heavily-rotated Inter side picked up a 2-0 victory away against Torino thanks to goals from Nicola Zalewski and Kristjan Asllani on Sunday evening in what was Inzaghi’s 150th Serie A match in charge of the Nerazzurri.
Of all coaches to hit 150 matches in charge of the same club in the history of Serie A, Inzaghi sits second in the rankings for points per game, marginally behind former Juventus head coach Massimiliano Allegri.
After Sunday’s 2-0 win over Torino, Inzaghi has an average of 2.18 points per game from his 150 Serie A matches in charge of Inter. Allegri’s record stands at 2.20 points per game from 302 league matches in charge of the Bianconeri.
Inzaghi is one of three coaches, along with Fabio Capello and Giovanni Trapattoni, to have taken charge of 150 Serie A matches with multiple clubs.
