Former Blue Pat Nevin has admitted he’s concerned about the Chelsea defence ahead of the final day showdown against Nottingham Forest.
The Blues head to the City Ground knowing they must win to guarantee their return to the Champions League next season.
Chelsea currently occupy the fifth and final qualification spot, with Forest, Newcastle, Aston Villa and Manchester City all vying for three spots.
The Blues don’t have a good record against Forest since their promotion back to the Premier League in 2022, and have just one win, which came at the City Ground last season.
Chelsea don’t have a good away record and have won just once on the road in 2025, and are yet to win a big away game this season.

Levi Colwill has spoken on the need to limit Forest’s threat on the counter attack, and Nevin has admitted he’s worried about the Blues defence.
“It’s been different, it’s changed throughout the season,” he said as quoted by Metro.
“It always has to be Levi Colwill, but it’s who goes beside him. Trevoh Chalobah has been good, Tosin Adarabioyo has come in, various people have done it, and it’s got a bit more stable recently, but this is a test.
“Especially against Anthony Elanga and Chris Wood, they are good players who are hard to deal with.
“Colwill is a litter older now (22) but he will need all the experience in the world to keep Wood quiet. Wood has had a brilliant season.

“His movement is superb and he’s so intelligent. If Chelsea can keep Wood from scoring, I think Chelsea will win.
“They have more quality in the rest of the field, they are slightly better. But it’s so slight, it’s wafer thin between the two clubs.”
Chelsea have been handed an injury boost with both Christopher Nkunku and Marc Guiu set to be available to give the Blues some much needed attacking options.
The pair are likely to start on the bench, and Enzo Maresca has a decision to make on whether to continue with Tyrique George down the middle.
Martin Keown thinks George is best suited in the squad to replace Jackson and it will be interesting to see what decision Maresca takes in what is a must win game.
