Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak has been named the Premier League's Player of the Month for December 2024, with Nottingham Forest boss Nuno Espirito Santo picking up the Manager of the Month prize.
Isak wins the award for the first time in his career after a dazzling December which saw him rack up eight goals and two assists in just six games, scoring in all six of Newcastle's fixtures across the month.
That stretch began with a goal and an assist against Liverpool in a 3-3 draw and culminated with him finding the back of the net against Manchester United to bring 2024 to a close.
Isak fought off competition in the vote from Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah, whose return of seven goals and seven assists saw him break the Premier League record for most goal involvements in a single calendar month.
He becomes the fifth different winner of the prize this year, following Erling Haaland, Cole Palmer, Chris Wood and Salah.

Meanwhile, Nuno picks up the managerial prize after leading Forest to a league-high 15 points across December.
Forest entered 2025 sitting third in the standings, behind only Liverpool and Arsenal, after bouncing back from defeat to Manchester City with five straight victories. Man Utd, Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur all fell victim to Forest before the calendar came to a close.
It's the second time Nuno has been named the Manager of the Month this season and the sixth across his entire Premier League career.
