It finished 1-1 between Inter and Juventus on matchday 35 in the Primavera 1 division. Following today’s draw at the Konami Youth Development Centre, where Zanchetta’s side displayed character and quality, Inter remain in second place on 67 points, one more than Sassuolo in third.
The Nerazzurri made a lightning-fast start, with Berenbruch testing Radu in the first minute. Just two minutes later, Inter took the lead: Berenbruch threaded a ball through for Topalovic, whose shot hit Pagnucco and ended in the Juventus net. Merola had a ninth-minute effort for the Bianconeri, while, at the other end, Mosconi was denied by Radu after being picked out by De Pieri (17’). Before half-time, the visitors equalised through Crapisto, who finished off an assist from Vacca in the 42nd minute.
The second half kicked off and Inter looked the more threatening side. In the 52nd minute, Berenbruch’s deflected left-footed strike was kept out by Radu. Shortly afterwards, the Nerazzurri No.7 shot first time in the area, but the Bianconeri backline got in the way. With 72 minutes on the clock, a fine team move from Inter ended with a Spinaccè shot from the edge of the box being deflected behind for a corner by the Juventus defence.
Despite Inter applying some late pressure, the scoreline didn’t change. Zanchetta’s side were thus forced to settle for a point that keeps them in second place with three matchdays left to play.
