Christian Pulisic confirms he feels at home with Milan and ‘I want to continue here’ ahead of signing a new contract. ‘This club has faith in me and it’s a pleasure to be here every day.’

The USMNT striker is well-travelled in his career, having played for Borussia Dortmund and Chelsea, but seems to be finding a new lease of life at San Siro since the €20.8m plus bonuses move in July 2023.

Pulisic scored the equaliser against Como this evening, before Tijjani Reijnders completed the comeback to beat Como 2-1.

Pulisic committed to Milan future

“We ought to be more positive, because we have won two games in a row and have the opportunity to get where we want to be, but we’ve got to take it one game at a time,” said Pulisic in his press conference.

“We want to finish in the top four, so we’ve got to believe and need the fans to support the team.”

There are multiple reports that the American has already agreed a new contract, with the paperwork just waiting to be signed. Does he think this is the club where he feels most at home?

“Oh 100 per cent yes. This club has faith in me and it’s a pleasure to be here every day. I want to continue here,” he replied.

Pulisic also spoke to DAZN and followed in the footsteps of teammate Reijnders when asked why Milan tend to start so poorly and then need comebacks to get points.

“I really cannot give you an answer. We want to start stronger, I don’t know why we are always struggling in the first half this season, but it’s important that we turned things around in the second half.”
