Neraysho Kasanwirjo’s promising Rangers career is already over after reports from Holland confirmed owner Neraysho Kasanwirjo’s promising Rangers career is already over after reports from Holland confirmed owner club Feyenoord are to cancel the loan agreement with Rangers following the defender’s season ending injury.
It is a very disappointing end for the Dutch players Ibrox career especially given how good he was looking in his brief few cameos.
Unfortunately, a bad injury on duty with his country has ruled him out for the season and the loan agreement will be cancelled between the two clubs.
This is primarily for the Dutch side’s benefit due to the readjustment of their squad and Rangers have no real say in this not that it really matters.
It is a real shame for the youngster who was looking a real prospect and that option to buy may well have been taken up had he maintained fitness and become a mainstay in Rangers team.
Sadly, it appears it was not to be and he has returned to Holland seemingly permanently.
From what we gather his purchase price was only around €1.5 million so even on rangers frugal terms that would probably have been affordable.
But unfortunately, his injury history now is bad and rangers own chequered past with injured players suggest there is no chance the club will actually invest the money to sign him anyway.
Que Sera.
