Over the past few weeks, rumours of Saudi Arabia aggressively pursuing Real Madrid superstar Vinicius Jr. having been gaining weight.
The Middle Eastern nation want the Real Madrid forward to be the face of the Saudi Pro League and as such are reportedly prepared to make a world-record €350 million bid for him, while offering a mind-boggling contract.
According to Jorge C Picon, though, Real Madrid remain unconcerned by rumours linking Vinicius Jr. with a move to Saudi Arabia, with the club fully supportive of the Brazilian forward and committed to his long-term future.
Real Madrid believe the 24-year-old will remain at the club until at least his contract expires in 2027, and club insiders suggest the aim is for him to leave a lasting legacy at the Bernabeu, not to depart prematurely.
From the top levels of the club, it is emphasised that Vinicius has matured into a leader, vying with Kylian Mbappe for the title of the world’s best player. His influence in the dressing room has grown, especially following the departures of Toni Kroos and Nacho.

As such, Real Madrid have no intention of letting Vinicius go and dismisses the speculation surrounding his future. The Spanish giants insist that they know nothing of any formal offer from Saudi Arabia.
The report, however, adds that the uncertainty lies with Vinicius himself. The winger considered leaving in August after receiving a €1 billion contract offer from the Saudi league. If they make another push this summer, the player will be forced to make a decision.
Despite the absence of any formal offer reaching the club, Saudi Arabia remain in contact with Vinicius’ camp, making it clear that they are waiting for him.
If Saudi Arabia remain committed to luring him with their eye-watering offer, Real Madrid hope that Vinicius’ sporting ambition will prevail.
Los Blancos plan to meet with their megastar in the coming months to discuss a contract extension, aiming to secure him for at least another decade.
The Brazilian international’s representatives are seeking a record contract, with a significantly higher salary than he currently earns, while the club is eager to resolve the issue swiftly to quell the growing speculation.
