Real Madrid could be looking for a double swoop to bolster their center-back position for the foreseeable future. Moreover, these are two targets that are linked to Paris Saint-Germain.

On Thursday, TEAMtalk reported, citing sources, Real Madrid are currently in the best position to sign Bournemouth’s Dean Huijsen despite Newcastle United having the teenager atop their transfer wishlist.

A recent report from CaughtOffside says that Manchester United, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Barcelona, and PSG are all eyeing 19-year-old Huijsen.

Moreover, Ibrahima Konate is another defender linked to Real Madrid who’s also on PSG’s radar. TEAMtalk previously reported that several clubs, including PSG and Real Madrid, are keeping an eye on Konate’s situation and could make a move this summer.

The report also mentions that Liverpool have not set an official price tag since they don’t intend to sell, but interested clubs believe an offer exceeding £50 million would be needed.

According to El Chiringuito, Real Madrid are not only interested in Huijsen but is also keeping an eye on Konate, whose contract with Liverpool runs through 2027.

Recently, Defensa Central reported that Liverpool are open to selling him if Real Madrid or any other suitor meets their €60 million (£50.6 million, $65.5 million) valuation.
