Real Madrid star Arda Güler has moved to reveal his appreciation for teammate Kylian Mbappé, on the back of the club’s latest outing.

This, of course, comes after both played starring roles en route to another three-point haul for Los Blancos.

Real Madrid marked their return to action on Sunday afternoon, welcoming Celta Vigo to Spain’s capital for a must-win La Liga clash.

When all was said and done, Carlo Ancelotti’s troops emerged triumphant, by three goals to two.

And it was the aforementioned pairing of Güler and Mbappé who proved themselves the game’s two standout performers.

In the case of the latter, he notched a brace, to close within a solitary goal of Barcelona frontman Robert Lewandowski atop the Pichichi standings.

Youngster Güler, meanwhile, opened the scoring in spectacular fashion, before laying on Mbappé’s 2nd of the day courtesy of nothing short of a brilliant pass.

Speaking to the media post-match, the subject of his defence-splitting assist was in turn put to the Turkish international himself.

Güler, though, made use of the opportunity to send full credit for as much the way of Mbappé, in explaining:

“My assist? It wasn’t that good, it was Kylian’s run!”
