Real Madrid star nominated for La Liga Player of the Month | OneFootball

The nominees for the January Player of the Month in La Liga have been unveiled online.

And they are headlined by a member of the attacking ranks at Real Madrid, in the form of Kylian Mbappé.

Frontman Mbappé has of course begun to rediscover his brilliant best of late, looking a completely different player to the ponderous and mistake-riddled one of the early months of the campaign.

As much is reflected in the Frenchman’s goalscoring, with Mbappé having found the net in each of his last three appearances.

This includes a brace against Las Palmas last weekend, in arguably the 26-year-old’s best overall performance in Real Madrid colours to date.

And, as alluded to above, on Wednesday, such efforts on Mbappé’s part have been recognised.

This comes amid confirmation that the summer arrival in Spain has been nominated for the La Liga Player of the Month prize for January.

He is joined on the shortlist for the award by all of Kike García, Dodi Lukebakio, Luis Milla, and Hugo Duro.
