Real Madrid star nominated for La Liga Player of the Month | OneFootball

A leading member of the attacking ranks at Real Madrid has received a nomination for La Liga Player of the Month.

The player in question? Kylian Mbappé.

Frontman Mbappé for his part took to the pitch in league play on three occasions in March.

And, across these outings, the Frenchman racked up a trio of goals, including a match-winning brace at Villarreal this past weekend.

Mbappé’s endeavours, in turn, have on Wednesday been recognised by way of an inclusion on the list of nominees for La Liga Player of the Month.

Also in the running for the prize, meanwhile, are the quartet of Real Betis standout Isco, Celta Vigo defender Marcos Alonso, on-loan Valencia frontman Umar Sadiq, and Rayo Vallecano midfielder Pedro Díaz.

This of course means no candidates for table-topping Barcelona, despite the Blaugrana having racked up eight goals across their two La Liga fixtures in March.
