The Espanyol player attempted to tackle Mbappé from behind, a challenge the commentators deemed dangerous. They described the tackle as an “aggression” that could have seriously injured the player.

“It is an aggression in which he can burst the player, it is regrettable. This is what Madrid have to endure in this filthy league of Negreira,” they said as quoted by SPORT.

Real Madrid TV was quick to point out that if the roles were reversed, the incident would have dominated the front pages of every media outlet, adding fuel to their frustration.

“If this were the other way around, open all the front pages and the media.”

Targeting Louzan

The channel also directed its anger towards Rafael Louzan, the president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF). Real Madrid TV claimed that Louzan, who had recently taken office, should step down immediately.

They accused him of granting too much power to Medina Cantalejo, who they believe is the successor of Jose Maria Negreira, the former vice-president of the refereeing committee embroiled in a scandal.

This criticism further reflected their belief that the influence of individuals like Cantalejo is damaging to the fairness of the competition.

“Rafael Louzan, who has just arrived, has to leave now. He knows what is there and has given absolute power to Medina Cantalejo, who is the direct heir of Negreira,” they added.

Throughout the broadcast, the tone remained consistently sharp, as the commentators emphasised that refereeing mistakes were a recurring issue for Real Madrid.

They remarked that it felt like ‘just another Negreira day,’ continuing their narrative of alleged systemic bias against the club.

Their harsh words underscore the growing frustration with the officiating in La Liga and signal that Real Madrid TV’s editorial line will likely remain focused on scrutinising refereeing decisions for the foreseeable future.

Despite the accusations, it seems that Real Madrid TV remains steadfast in its stance, unwilling to let the issue of refereeing controversies fade into the background.
