Real Madrid XI vs Barcelona – Predicted lineup and team news

Real Madrid take on arch-rivals Barcelona tonight in an El Clásico Copa del Rey final.
Carlo Ancelotti’s side can still win a domestic double this season but enter the Spanish Cup decider under pressure. A disappointing exit to Arsenal in the Champions League and four-point gap to bridge in La Liga has left their season’s ambitions under threat.
It’s the first Clásico Copa del Rey final since 2014, when Gareth Bale’s brilliant late goal sealed success for Real Madrid.
Barcelona will start as slight favourites and enter the final in good form. Top of the table in Spain and also through to the Champions League semi-finals, the Catalans are chasing treble success under Hansi Flick. Barcelona have thrashed Real Madrid in both previous meetings this season, scoring nine goals across their La Liga and Supercopa de Espana victories.
Kylian Mbappe is expected to take his place in the Real Madrid side. The French forward injured his ankle during the Champions League exit to Arsenal but is set to line up in Seville. Ferland Mendy is also available in a big boost to Carlo Ancelotti.
However, Eduardo Camavinga has been ruled out with an adductor injury that has curtailed his campaign. The midfielder joins Eder Militao and Dani Carvajal as notable absentees for Los Blancos. That duo are recovering from ACL injuries.
Real Madrid predicted XI: Courtois; Vazquez, Asencio, Rudiger, F Garcia; Tchouameni, Valverde; Rodrygo, Bellingham, Vinicius; Mbappe.
Barcelona host Real Madrid in the Copa del Rey final on Saturday 26th April 2025. Kick-off at Estadio de La Cartuja is 21:00 BST.
In the UK, the game will be broadcast on Premier Sports 1.
