The current 2024-25 season has been nothing short of a fairytale for the FC Barcelona fans. Expectations of these fans were quite low after seeing their team finish the last season without a trophy and with all the turmoil that surrounded the club with Xavi Hernandez’s roller coaster of a departure.
However, the Catalans have struck gold with Hansi Flick’s appointment, who has already led the team to Spanish Super Cup and Copa del Rey glory, and is now looking to win the UEFA Champions League and La Liga as well.
There is no doubt that the Joan Laporta administration deserves a lot of credit for this appointment, and this will certainly be seen as one of the successes of the current board.
Meanwhile, another area in which this administration can provide the fans with good news soon is about the return to Camp Nou. Barcelona’s return to their historical stadium has already been delayed, but work now seems to be going on with great speed, and everything indicates that the Catalans will return to play there in September.
This progress is quite visible from the freshly painted seats in the stands and the pitch already installed with its lines painted, etc.

Furthermore, as Mundo Deportivo has reported, a recently published video also shows the images from the tests carried out on the stadium’s lighting system. In this video, lights from this system can be seen radiating from the panels present in the second tier.
For now, work is being done on the third tier of the stadium. The structure of this part of the future Camp Nou is being undertaken, with the workers currently occupied with the installation of metalwork.
Hopefully, this work will be completed as soon as possible, so the fans can once again see their beloved Barcelona team playing at Camp Nou next season.
