Inter Milan are preparing an offer to sign former Liverpool forward Sadio Mane from Al-Nassr.
This according to French outlet Sport.fr. They claim that the Nerazzurri want to make the 32-year-old a big name signing in attack.
In the last couple transfer windows, Inter’s business has focused on youth.
The Nerazzurri signed keeper Josep Martinez and defender Tomas Palacios last summer with an eye to the future.
And this month, Inter are in talks for Tomas Perez and Petar Sucic. These would be players who could inject some youth into the midfield.
However, Sport.fr claim, Inter are also looking to sign a much more established name.
Senegalese international forward Sadio Mane joined Al-Nassr in the summer of 2023.
Mane was one of the big names who made the switch to a team in the Saudi Pro League. The transfer came just one season after he had joined Bayern Munich from Liverpool.
Previously, Mane had starred for the likes of Red Bull Salzburg and Southampton.
According to Sport.fr, Al-Nassr would consider letting Mane leave for the right fee.
And the French outlet claim that Inter are considering making an offer. They report that the Nerazzurri are planning to test the Saudi club’s resolve during the January transfer window.
