Juventus are poised to make significant moves in the upcoming transfer market, as they are expected to make Pierre Kalulu a key figure for the future, while Andrea Cambiaso could be allowed to leave for a significant profit.

The French defender moved to the Allianz Stadium on loan from Milan in August 2024 and has delivered convincing performances in both Serie A and the Champions League, with his consistency likely to prompt the Bianconeri to exercise the purchase option in his loan agreement.

Juventus’ divergent transfer plans for Kalulu and Cambiaso

According to Calciomercato.com, Juventus director Cristiano Giuntoli informed Kalulu’s agent of their intention to sign him permanently for €14m, in addition to the €3.5 million already paid for the loan.

Conversely, the report added that the Old Lady may be open to resuming talks with Manchester City over the sale of Andrea Cambiaso, after the Premier League giants attempted to secure the Italy international during the winter transfer window.

Manager Pep Guardiola is said to be a big admirer of the versatile left-back, with the Citizens reportedly ready to bid €62 million next summer, tempting the player with a multi-year contract worth €6 million per season.

Cambiaso has two goals and one assist from 23 Serie A appearances with Thiago Motta’s side this season and is expected to start in his side’s home clash against Verona, which would allow Juventus to cut their gap with leaders Inter to six points.
