FC Barcelona now have only one match left to play in the 2024-25 season, against Athletic Club on Sunday. However, their season is already practically over as they have already wrapped up the league title.

Before that, the Catalans had also won the Copa del Rey in April and the Spanish Super Cup in January. Thus, their La Liga win confirms their domestic treble, which is a very notable achievement for Hansi Flick in his first season in charge of the Blaugrana team.

Barcelona players to get six weeks of rest

But now, the fans and the club at large would already be looking ahead to the next season. However, before this next season starts, Barcelona is going to have a significant break, as they are not going to participate in the Club World Cup.

Still, it does not mean that the Blaugrana fans would have to spend the next few months without seeing their team in action. There are several friendly matches scheduled for the upcoming preseason, and Mundo Deportivo has provided an outline of the matches the Catalans can play before the start of the next season.

Although it is yet to be confirmed, Barcelona are set to return to training after the match against Athletic Club in the second week of July, thus, the team would get around six weeks of well-deserved rest.

In Japan, their first friendly is set to be played against Vissel Kobe, the former team of Andres Iniesta, on 27th July.

Then, the Catalan team will travel to South Korea, where they are set to play two more friendly games. The first of these will be played against FC Seoul on 31st July, while the second will be played against Daegu FC in Daegu on 4th August.

After this latter game, the team will travel directly back to Barcelona and play the Joan Gamper Trophy match on 9th August. This match will be played as a pilot test at the Spotify Camp Nou ahead of the official start of the season. The team will permanently return to Camp Nou after the international break in September.
