Report: Struggling Premier League club willing to pay BIG for this Borussia Dortmund star | OneFootball

According to multiple sources, Manchester United's bosses are keeping close tabs on Borussia Dortmund’s Felix Nmecha. The Premier League giants are having a similar season to Dortmund, but they’re sitting in 13th, with a multiple-manager season and little hope of European Qualification.

Felix Nmecha is currently injured and hasn’t featured since Dortmund’s 2-2 draw with Werder Bremen, so he has yet to play under new coach Niko Kovač. The 24-year-old has scored twice and assisted once in 19 Bundesliga appearances this season, and BVB has yet to get the best out of the German.

Unfortunately, Felix Nmecha’s two seasons at Dortmund have been plagued by injuries, limiting both his game time and his development. While viewed as a flop by many in his first season at Dortmund, Nmecha has shown much promise this term.

If Nmecha keeps developing, he could become a crucial asset to Dortmund. Still, suppose Manchester United indeed approaches the Black and Yellows with an offer close to the alleged 48 million euros. Sebastian Kehl and company would reportedly have to consider the offer, even if they wanted to keep Nmecha.

Nmecha is a promising player who can fill both the six or eight positions with more agility and technical acumen than BVB's current options for those positions, but 48 million can go a long way.

However, some in Dortmund may warn Nmecha against a move to Manchester United after the experiences of Jadon Sancho and Shinji Kagawa. Perhaps Marcel Sabitzer has a thing or two to say on that subject?
