The Roma faithful haven’t gotten over the sacking of Daniele De Rossi and the lack of communication with the Friedkin family and made it known during the Inter clash. The Curva was empty for the first 15 minutes because of a strike, Goal reported.

The Ultras hung two banners, saying they were “disgusted by this management,” and lamenting the absence of the two patrons with a wordplay referring to director Florent Ghisolfi. The supporters indicated also the new logo, widespread disorganization, lackluster merchandise, and the hiring of unworthy persons who don’t know the city and the team as further reasons for their dissent in a statement.

Roma suffered the first Serie A loss with Ivan Juric at the helm on Sunday. They were undone by a pair of blunders after going toe to toe with Inter. The gaffer commented to Sky.

“We were timid at the start, then we did well until the goal, which was an accident. You pay the price for that in this kind of match. We had good chances but didn’t convert them due to technical errors. It’s never easy to face Inter, but we contained them almost entirely.”

Juric explained his recipe to win back the support of the Roma fans.

“We need results, and I’m sorry for tonight. The crowd was pleased for a lot of things, then the rest is chatter. The players must stay strong, and the situation will eventually change. We hadn’t played like this versus Inter in a long time.”

Our Take on Roma

The atmosphere didn’t help, but they actually had a decent game and are paying the price for some questionable transfer market choices. Plus, the unwarranted early coaching change delayed their team-building process.
