Roma are reportedly looking to reinforce their right flank for the remainder of the season.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Giallorossi have made it their priority to secure an additional right-back in the January window.

Given Saud’s difficulty in settling into European football and Zeki Celik’s mounting fatigue, Roma sporting director Florent Ghisolfi has gotten started on the search for a new right-back with Celta Vigo’s Oscar Mingueza on top of Roma’s shortlist.

Mingueza has a contract with the Spanish club until 2026 and a release clause set at 20 million euros (Barça are entitled to 50% of the resale).

And above all, the player earns a salary of less than 1 million euros, which makes him very attractive in the eyes of the Giallorossi sporting director, whose mission remains to keep an eye on the club’s wage bill.
