A fellow member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona is leading top scorer Robert Lewandowski when it comes to goals-per-minutes thus far this season.
That’s according to Diario Sport, who point towards Ferran Torres as the player in question.
Frontman Ferran is for his part of course fresh off making his latest telling impact for Barcelona over the weekend.
En route to a 2-0 La Liga victory over Las Palmas, the former Manchester City man was introduced from the bench, before lashing home a brilliant left-footed finish to round out the scoring.
And, owing to as much, Ferran secured for himself an altogether noteworthy benchmark.
As revealed by Sport, the Spanish international has now averaged a goal scored every 86 minutes across the 2024/25 campaign to date.
This is the best rate in Hansi Flick’s Blaugrana squad, besting Robert Lewandowski’s rate of a goal every 87 minutes.
