Brendan Rodgers has named his Celtic team for Trophy Day at Paradise. As expected, the Irishman has named a strong team with an indication of the starting XI for next weekend’s Scottish Cup Final.
Kasper Schmeichel starts in goals. The Dane was on the bench for the midweek win but returns to the team as he looks to get up to speed for next week.
Alistair Johnston and Greg Taylor start in the full back berths. Cameron Carter-Vickers returns to the team after a hamstring concern was treated, ruling him out of the Hibs & Aberdeen games. Liam Scales comes back into the side to partner the vice-captain.
In midfield, skipper Callum McGregor starts alongside Arne Engels and Paulo Bernardo.
In attack, Adam Idah comes into the side. The Irishman made it 20 goals for the season with a late strike at Pittodrie and he’s joined by POTY, Players’ POTY, PFA Scotland POTY and SFWA POTY Daizen Maeda. Nicolas Kühn starts out right.
Subs: Sinisalo, Trusty, Yang, McCowan, Schlupp, Nawrocki, Kenny, Forrest, Ralston
