Manchester City and Bournemouth have confirmed their starting lineups ahead of tonight’s crucial Premier League fixture at the Etihad. For Pep Guardiola’s side tonight’s match is crucial in their bid to secure Champions League football for next season. A win would mean they only need a draw on the final day to qualify for Europe’s premier club competition. But they’ll face a tough Bournemouth side who can be more than a handful on their day.
Tonight’s match will be the final game at the Etihad as a Manchester City player for Kevin De Bruyne. It promises to be an emotional night, but Pep Guardiola’s side must take care of business before De Bruyne’s goodbye takes place.
On the injury front for Manchester and Rodri could return to the City matchday squad tonight. Rodri’s been out for 8 months due to the ACL injury he sustained against Arsenal in September. Guillermo Rai and Sam Lee reported for the Athletic that Rodri has been cleared to return for tonight’s match. It does appear to be unlikely that he will start.

Stefan Ortega, Nico O’Reilly and Jeremy Doku all drop to the bench for tonight’s match. Savinho isn’t in the City squad for tonight’s match.
Kevin De Bruyne starts in his final home game for Manchester City. Rodri returns as a substitute for tonight’s match.
