Tottenham Hotspur discuss move to sign Noah Okafor | OneFootball

Tottenham Hotspur are desperate to sign a new striker in the January transfer window and they have been linked with a host of players already.

Spurs have been linked with a move for Southampton youngster Tyler Dibling, but he is unlikely to leave in the winter transfer window.

Tottenham have shown interest in Brighton & Hove Albion striker Evan Ferguson, but there is a lot of competition to sign him.

They are also heavily linked with a move for Bayern Munich youngster Mathys Tel, who is being targeted by Arsenal and Chelsea, among others.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Tottenham have discussed the possibility of signing Noah Okafor. The Swiss striker is due to leave AC Milan in the winter market, and Spurs could be an attractive destination for him.

The transfer expert wrote on X: “Tottenham will surely bring in one more striker in the final days, one of several clubs keen on Mathys Tel.

“Meanwhile, understand Noah Okafor has also been discussed as option with the Swiss striker due to leave AC Milan.”

Ange Postecoglou is missing several key players due to injuries. The forward line has been badly depleted with the likes of Dominic Solnake, James Maddison, Brennan Johnson, and Timo Werner all out currently with injuries.

Spurs have also shown interest in signing AS Monaco forward Breel Embolo, while they have also opened talks to sign Brentford attacker Yoane Wissa.

The next few days will be very crucial for them, and it appears they are determined to sign at least one player, be it on loan or permanently, before Monday’s deadline.

Okafor, who has 24 caps for Switzerland, joined AC Milan in the summer of 2023 and has made 53 appearances for the Serie A giants, scoring seven goals.

He could be available in the market, but it is not clear whether Spurs are actively trying to bring him to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
