Tottenham’s transfer activity has been a point of interest for fans and analysts alike, especially with the January window now in full swing.
After a summer marked by significant changes under Ange Postecoglou, Spurs appear far from done when it comes to reshaping their squad.
Recent links to players such as Randal Kolo Muani underline Tottenham’s ambition to strengthen their attacking options, but midfield reinforcements seem to be climbing the priority list.
Notably, reports have surfaced about a Serie A player who could soon find himself at the centre of a bid from North London.
This potential move aligns with Tottenham’s ongoing efforts to bolster their squad depth as they aim to push for a Champions League spot.
If reports are accurate, the club could be closing in on a deal “immediately” for a player who brings both experience and versatility to the midfield.

According to Inter Live and TV Play, Tottenham have set their sights on Inter Milan midfielder Davide Frattesi.
The Italian international, valued at €45-50 million by Inter, is reportedly open to a move after struggling for regular game time this season.
Tottenham are said to be preparing a bid of €32 million to secure Frattesi’s services without delay. Despite the offer falling short of Inter’s valuation, Spurs are confident they can negotiate favourable terms.
Frattesi joined Inter after an impressive spell at Sassuolo, making an immediate impact with memorable performances, including a goal on his debut in the Derby della Madonnina.
However, this season has been less productive, with limited starts under Simone Inzaghi.
Frattesi’s profile makes him a strong candidate to strengthen Tottenham’s midfield.
Known for his work rate and ability to contribute offensively, he has managed three goals and one assist in 16 appearances across Serie A and the Champions League this season, despite limited opportunities.
His career statistics, 55 goals and 25 assists in 322 matches, highlight his effectiveness in advanced midfield roles.
Moreover, his ability to perform in high-pressure environments, such as Inter’s title-winning campaign, demonstrates his readiness for a Premier League challenge.
While Frattesi reportedly favours a move to Roma, Tottenham remain in the mix, offering him the opportunity to establish himself in one of Europe’s most competitive leagues.
