PSG sold Xavi Simons to RB Leipzig earlier this year, and the Dutch midfielder has quickly drawn interest from several Premier League clubs, including Liverpool, Manchester City, and Tottenham Hotspur.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Leipzig paid €80 million for Simons, with €55 million paid upfront. He signed a contract through June 2027, and the deal includes a sell-on clause.

With the summer transfer window approaching, speculation about Simons’ next move is heating up. A recent report from CaughtOffside suggested Manchester United could be in pole position to sign him, edging out interest from Manchester City.

Meanwhile, Fichajes reported that Tottenham are planning to strengthen their squad ahead of a Champions League return, with Simons named as one of three key targets. The outlet claimed the club is “dreaming” of bringing in the Dutch international.

Fichajes reported that Spurs, especially now with the Champions League money in their coffers, are a favorite to land Simons. Nonetheless, the German club has no intention of letting their star player leave easily, demanding a transfer fee of around €80 million.

TEAMtalk reported this week that Liverpool are one of several clubs interested in a summer move for Xavi Simons, who has featured as both a left winger and an attacking midfielder this season.

According to the report, Simons is seen as a strong fit for Arne Slot’s plans at Anfield, with growing confidence that the 22-year-old is headed for the Premier League. That interest appears to be mutual, as Slot is reportedly a fan of Simons.

TEAMtalk adds that Slot particularly values Simons’s technical ability and maturity—traits the Dutch international developed during standout spells at PSV and RB Leipzig.
