Tuttosport: Three in the frame as Sarri idea rises for next Milan head coach

AC Milan are looking to move on from Sergio Conceicao in the summer, and there are seemingly three options in line to replace him.
In recent months, it has become rather apparent that Milan are looking for an Italian hire in their next head coach, and so pretty much every candidate linked with the soon-to-be-vacant head coach spot is a domestic hire.
From this, the coaches also have had experience in Europe, and done well, whilst also maintaining the ability to do well in Serie A. Then, the door is quite wide open, with a range of different skillsets being appreciated and considered.
Last week, it seemed like four coaches were in the running for the job, but today, it seems that number has changed to three, with Tuttosport (via Milan Press) writing that Vincenzo Italiano, Massimiliano Allegri and Maurizio Sarri are the three contenders.
Italiano’s name has been mentioned heavily in the past week, which is understandable considering his work with Bologna this season, and Fiorentina in recent years. Then, Allegri’s position within the race has been strong for some time now.
Sarri, as the report writes, is a candidate whose name has seen a spark. The coach is ‘on the rise’ in favour, and there have been previous ideas regarding him.
