Manchester City’s unreleased kits for the upcoming 2025 FIFA Club World Cup have now been spotted on sale early ahead of their June release date.
Pep Guardiola and his players have only just concluded their competitive domestic season but eyes are already being fixated on a return to action much sooner than usual with the arrival of a revamped and expanded Club World Cup.
Thankfully for City, their English football campaign ended with UEFA Champions League qualification for the 2025/26 season courtesy of a third-placed finish after a 0-2 win at Fulham, despite huge concerns internally during the season that such an outcome may not be possible.
While many players within Guardiola’s squad head out on international duty with World Cup qualifiers and Nations League Finals on the agenda, others are taking on much-needed rest over the next fortnight before they will be called back to the City Football Academy.
And ahead of Manchester City’s return to their headquarters in East Manchester, plans are already being finalised for the debut appearance at the new-look FIFA Club World Cup, which will also feature two brand new kits for the club.
As revealed by kit source Footy Headlines, both of City’s upcoming kits for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup have now been spotted on sale at an unnamed location, with the pair of shirts due to be released for sale on Tuesday 10 June.
Manchester City’s kit manufacturers and designers, Puma have collaborated with KidSuper Studios – a streetwear clothing brand based in Brooklyn, New York – to launch special kits for this summer’s tournament.
Both kits were originally anticipated to feature novel colours different from traditional pallets used by the club in the past, while the black and red sash utilised on the white shirt will no doubt invoke memories of iconic strips of Manchester City’s recent history.
For now, it remains to be seen just how and when the new kits will be worn at the tournament, with the club themselves already confirming to supporters that their brand new 2025/26 home shirt – released earlier this month – will debut for the men’s first-team in the United States.
