United simply have to put an end to unwanted 17-game streak vs Ipswich, they’re being humiliated

Manchester United have four days to recover and recuperate from Saturday’s action-filled draw with Everton before hosting Ipswich Town this Wednesday.
After having a fortnight of playing only once a week, the Red Devils now return to their usual jam-packed schedule of fixtures every three to four days – starting with a midweek Premier League outing.
Then, United lock horns with Fulham in a fifth-round FA Cup tie on Sunday, March 2, in hopes of continuing on their quest to retain the trophy.
When Ruben Amorim’s side entered the interval at Goodison Park trailing by two Toffees goals, it marked the 17th game in which they have failed to score from open play in the first half.

Such a dismal record is only humiliating United further with each passing match – especially when you consider the money they’ve shelled out to bolster the squad in recent windows. Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee, for example, cost a combined £100.5 million and have not found the back of the net since the beginning of December.
United finished matchweek 26 in the same position they started it in: 15th place. They have now scored 30 and conceded 37 in the league to give themselves a difference of minus seven. In comparison, leaders Liverpool have scored 64 and let in 26, making the gap between the two arch-rivals look worlds apart.
Still, Amorim has Bruno Fernandes and Manuel Ugarte to thank for salvaging something from their Toffees trip and, prior to their goals, Patrick Dorgu had been hailed as the only Red to ‘emerge with any credit’ from the first half.
