Dusan Vlahovic admits to having regrets after Juventus were held to a 1-1 draw by LOSC in the Champions League. ‘I think we deserved to win and we could’ve won it too.’
The Bianconeri had gone behind in France to a Jonathan David classic counter-attack, with Vlahovic converting a penalty to get them back on track following the foul on Francisco Conceicao.
Although they had more possession and scoring opportunities, the Old Lady failed to get more than a stalemate.
“We had the game under control in a difficult arena against a team that plays very good football, beating great sides. We were aggressive and I think we deserved to win it, especially after we managed to get it back on level terms,” Vlahovic told Sky Sport Italia.
“Every point is important in the Champions League and we had the opportunity to get more here, so that is the regret.”
LOSC have made their name as giant-killers in the competition already, losing their opening fixture to Sporting CP, but then beating Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid in quick succession.

Teun Koopmeiners had two goals disallowed for other players being in offside positions this evening, while Vlahovic saw his strike brilliantly denied by Lucas Chevalier.
“It was a fantastic save and I congratulate him, this is part of the sport and in 90 per cent of cases that ball goes into the net, but the ‘keeper was excellent. I do think we deserved to win and we could’ve won it too,” added Vlahovic.
Now Juventus have seven points from four games in the new Champions League format, losing only in a surprise 1-0 result at home to VfB Stuttgart.
“This is a young squad with a new coach, we changed a lot of things over the summer, it is the first time in the Champions League for many of the players too. We are satisfied, but feel also that we could’ve done more,” concluded the Serbia international.
