Schlager, Gadou, Nene and Bidstrup on short list

We have seen better months, to be perfectly honest. We took two wins, a draw and slipped to two defeats in April -  too little for our big ambitions. We want to acknowledge the standout performers among our Red Bulls just like in any month, however, and as always it is down to you fans to crown our Player of the Month! There are four nominees to choose from.

Alex Schlager

The Austrian international had to miss the first matches of the month with adductor problems, before Alex returned to our goal for the two WAC encounters - and reminded us just what we had missed with a number of stunning saves.

Joane Gadou

While our defence may have lost some of the stability it showed in March, Joane once again showed composure well beyond his 18 years - playing all 90 minutes in all five matches.

Dorgeles Nene

Dorgeles was our biggest goal threat in April. With his goals against BW Linz and Austria Vienna (a brace), he helped us to two wins, while his penalty at WAC looked like a mere consolation - but would actually keep us ahead of the rivals if we finish the season level on points due to our superior head-to-head record.

Mads Bidstrup

Our tireless midfield engine. Mads led our boys through turbulent weeks as a captain and anchored our midfield superbly - with the Dane performing very well against BW Linz, Austria Vienna and against WAC at home.
