Wales fought back to earn a UEFA Women’s Nations League Group A4 point against Sweden in front of over 6,000 fans.
Filippa Angeldahl slotted Sweden ahead inside a quarter of an hour, after Olivia Clark parried Matilda Vinberg’s cross in her direction.
After the interval, Gemma Evans slid in to prevent Stina Blackstenius getting through on goal.
Ceri Holland weaved her way through at the other end but fired over the bar, then quickly threatening a second time.
Julia Zigiotti Olme hit the top of the Wales crossbar, Blackstenius struck the post but then Wales were awarded a penalty for handball.
Kayleigh Barton stepped up and smashed the ball into the roof of the net, to make it 1-1 with 15 minutes to play.
Moments later Holland got through but was denied by goalkeeper Jennifer Falk.
