Barcelona star Gavi wasted absolutely no time in rubbing his side’s Copa del Rey triumph in the face of Real Madrid defender Raúl Asencio on Saturday.

As much has been confirmed by a round of footage to have come to the fore a day on.

The latest edition of El Clásico was of course played to completion late yesterday evening. This came with silverware on the line, in the finale of the Copa del Rey.

When all was said and done, it was Barcelona who held their nerve, to keep alive hopes of a historic treble for the season.

This came after a pulsating affair was sent to extra-time, setting the stage for Jules Koundé to drill home a late winner at the death.

The full-time whistle at La Cartuja sparked chaotic celebrations amongst those of a Barca persuasion, revelling in their third victory from three against Real Madrid in 2024/25.

And as alluded to above, keen to rub as much firmly in the face of one Blancos star in particular was Blaugrana midfielder Gavi.

As showcased in the footage below, upon the final whistle confirming his side’s win in Seville, Gavi made a beeline for Raúl Asencio, screaming in the face of the stopper before running on:
