Paris Saint-Germain are exploring ways to strengthen their attack for the future, with Aston Villa forward Jhon Durán emerging as a potential target.
Journalist Ben Jacobs recently reported that while PSG are still interested in Durán, negotiations could be difficult due to Villa’s £80 million asking price. This valuation reflects Durán’s strong performances and a recent contract extension, with Villa reportedly unwilling to sell unless an exceptional offer comes in.
PSG, however, believe Durán’s market value is about £25 million lower than Villa’s current demand. The Parisians aren’t the only club eyeing the Colombian forward, though.
On Monday, Jacobs confirmed that Aston Villa rejected a £57 million bid from West Ham for Durán. This marks West Ham’s second attempt to sign him during this transfer window. Villa are reportedly not planning to sell in January, and only an offer around £85 million (€100 million) could change their position—an amount also mentioned by PSG.

Football Insider reports, citing sources, that West Ham could sign Corinthians striker Yuri Alberto for £20 million this January. The report adds that the Hammers are eager to bring in a new striker due to injuries that have left manager Graham Potter with limited attacking options.
Michail Antonio, Jarrod Bowen, and Niclas Fullkrug have all been sidelined, prompting the need for reinforcements this month. West Ham has been linked with Alberto in previous transfer windows but has yet to finalize a deal.
The 23-year-old has long been a highly sought-after player, and Southampton nearly signed him last summer before the move fell through at the last moment. Football Insider adds that Alberto could cost between £20 million and £25 million in this window.
