16 will soon become eight as trip to Wembley approaches
The FA Cup quarter-finals take place this weekend.
This year’s FA Cup looks very open indeed. Heavy hitters like Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea are all out of the competition already and while big clubs do remain in the mix, perhaps more of the unfancied teams have genuine hopes of reaching Wembley.
Holders Manchester United remain difficult to trust, while the same can be said of this version of Manchester City.
With that in mind, the likes of Crystal Palace, Fulham, Wolves, Newcastle and Aston Villa can start dreaming, along with fellow Premier League clubs Nottingham Forest, Ipswich, Bournemouth and Brighton.
Giant-killers Plymouth cannot be discounted, while Millwall, Burnley and Cardiff could yet reach the final eight.
With that in mind, here’s a look at all you need to know about the FA Cup quarter-final draw.
