Newcastle United will entertain Ipswich Town at St. James’ Park this Saturday afternoon as they try to collect all three points at home in the Premier League. The Magpies suffered a poor 4-1 loss at the hands of Aston Villa recently. Hence, the Tyneside club would be eager to put in a much-improved showing this weekend.
Eddie Howe will set his men up in a 4-3-3 formation and is expected to keep changes to a minimum for this game. Thus, Alexander Isak will once again lead the charge for the Magpies up top.
Nick Pope will feature in goal for the Tyneside outfit after conceding four goals in his last league appearance. Fabian Schar will continue to operate alongside Dan Burn at the centre of the Newcastle defence as they look to keep things solid on the defensive end of the field.
Tino Livramento will be a nailed-on starter at left-back while Kieran Trippier looks to put in a good performance as the right-back. Howe will allow both of them to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.
Emil Krafth and Matt Targett will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Newcastle could opt for a midfield three of Joelinton, Sandro Tonali and Bruno Guimaraes as they focus on establishing their superiority over the opposition at the centre of the park.
Joe Willock will have to be content with a place on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the second half if needed.
Harvey Barnes will try to prove his worth on the left flank while Jacob Murphy looks to impress on the right wing. Alexander Isak will lead the line for the Magpies down the middle. He failed to score against Aston Villa, so this game against Ipswich would be a good chance for him to return to form in the Premier League.
Anthony Gordon and Callum Wilson will be named on the bench as they await their chance to make an impact in the final quarter of the game if required.
